I know that there are a lot of Veterans of our Armed Forces on here. I just wanted to remind everybody that Today Is "Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day". A day that I and others feel has been to long in comming. Being of that age I am ashamed that our Country has not done this sooner. It was spoken of in years past but until this year nothing had been done. As always I salute each and every person who has served in the Armed Forces allowing us to lead our lives and protecting us from our enemies. Ladys and Gentlemen here is my" HAND SALUTE" for serving and sacrificing so much for us all. Welcome Home and Thank You.

I didn't realize that, Roger. Thanks for sharing this. I have Vietnam vets in my family, and lived my life around many others. They certainly do deserve our nation's gratitude. My thanks to all who served.

hamman, THANK YOU!! I am a Vietnam vet, and wow, some things still hurt after all these years. Actually, it was not until after 9/11 that I kind of began to even talk much about being in Vietnam. Strange feelings indeed. I would fight again for our country's freedom!!
I am thankful to those who are now serving to help keep us all free and safe! God bless them all!

Thanks for starting this hamman. I was unaware of this.
Been thanking all Vets for years, this will be another day to say "Welcome Home and Thanks" to these people. Without those willing to serve we would have nothing. Mike
