Default Yanmar YM1300d Project

I just picked up this little gem and it has some issues. This is going to need a replacement head as it sucked a valve and damaged the valve seat beyond repair. Anyone out there have a complete head for this? I noticed that this has a different grill than some other 1300 series tractors does this mean its an earlier model? and are there any other changes to this model over the years of production? I have 2 other Yanmar's that are hard little workers and didn't want to see this one go to the crusher. The P/O said everything including the 4wd worked great before the valve spring failed.

I believe the YM155 head is a direct replacement in the event you don't find a YM1300 head. I would start with your neighbor in Ohio, Wayne Foreman:

513-877-3000-Little Miami Trading Company - http://www.LMTCompany.com

Try these too:

www.HoyeTractor.com ---email--- parts@hoyetractor.com

256-773-9951 Fredricks Equipment Inc. - http://www.tractorportal.com/members...om&member=1203

Good luck!

I don't see the parts listed individually, but I would be surprised if the valve seats on these engines aren't replaceable. A machine shop ought to be able to replace them, or make new ones, I imagine.
