our VFD has a Murrary 42" Murrary model 42591X8B mower with a foot speed control peddle that won't travel with the battery out we can see the top of the transaxle, the small "4 or 5 inch drive pulley has a plastic blower blade and will spin freely when turned as if it is not engauged with the trans axle. anyone know what model transaxle this mower is supposed to have?

I'm not 100% as all the parts schematics I pull up do not identify it, but I believe it is a Peerless 205-O24C.

I'm not sure what you mean here, are you trying to push the machine but it will not roll? If so there should be a disengage lever under the seat. Move that lever and the machine should roll. Move it back to put the machine into normal use.

The repairs for the Murray have been moved to the back burner, someone volunteered to mow for the VFD, the firemen are happy, maybe they will give me the mower!
