My stock-class Model 72 Cub at it's first pull. I learned a lot about what not to do that day.

I just got a pari of Firestone Flotation 23's I need to get mounted now.

The first step is to find you local club and get a copy of the rules. Go to a couple of pulls and decide what class you want to pull in. Once you've read the rules and looked at some tractors you'll have a good idea where to start.

The gt6000 in your avatar. I am a fan of that style tractor, I would really like more info on the modifications you have done for pulling. I assume it is the 6 speed and not a hydro.

Yes it is a 6 spd. mods include removal of old angled rear plate, replaced with flat plate for hitch, widened rear wheels, wheelie bars, adjustable hitch, open exhaust on a stock 20 hp onan, solid engine pulley, belly bar to hang weights, Kohler mini tach and complete rewire job due to age damage, custom throttle pedal. And of course lots of Cat yellow and flat black paint. We pull in the 1050 lbs stock twin class and have lots of fun. The serial number says it is from 1992 sadly the last year with the Onans, they are great engines.
