I am in the process of starting a rebuild on the K301 in my 128, have everything torn down except for removing the cam shaft. From what I can tell, the chiltons manual says to drive out the pin from the PTO side. I tapped on it, but it didnt move. Before I apply brute force, is this correct? Are there needle bearings or anything else to be aware of when I pull it out?

i just tapped one out of a kohler, there was a plug on the flywheel end.
i used an exacto knife to clean the sides of the hole , sprayed some weasel juice and gave the other end a few good taps. she came out allright. Dan |
