Default JOHN DEERE 657 Zero Turn

I been shopping for another mower and came across this Quiktrak Zero Turn Stand-On Mower. Its 23hp 54" 7 Iron II Deck and has 436 hours. The dealer was asking $3599. Said he would do $3000 cash and carry. There is no warranty on this.

I only used ztrs. I dont know much about Deere standers. Anyone have any insight? How well do these hold up?

Not actual picture but its just as clean.

I don't have any experience with this style mower either, but I'm sure that someone here has and that they'll be along soon to offer you some insight. They are neat looking machines though. I'm curious now.

I demo'd a ferris before I got my z910, I think for small yards they are awesome, but for larger yards I'd rather sit. as far as the reliability of the 657, there are several guys around me that use them and get good service out of them, just as good as any other JD. The 7 iron decks are the cats meow for quality cut, and $3000 is a good price for that machine.

I have a 647a stand on. Its a good mower and lays down a nice cut, BUT it does not do well on a sidehill. Straight up and down and your ok, but hard to hold it sideways on a hill. I actually put 5 gallons of Rv antifreeze in each rear tire and that made a big difference. Hope that helps! I use my mower commercially.
