Here are some manuals (see mediafire link below). They're available elsewhere on a bunch of sites but I shrunk the file size by over 50% and also made them searchable. The search feature is a nice time saver.
The file can be uncompressed with 7-zip www.7-zip.org or similar software. http://www.mediafire.com/?7kv60n2yxjq7k56 ** 179 manuals Last edited by Anonymous; 01-25-2012 at 06:01 PM. |

That's very nice of you, thanks. There's bound to be a few in there I don't have.

You're welcome. I don't own any Bolens yet but I would like to get a large frame when I have space available. I really like the shaft drive design. It's a much cleaner look (and I imagine much stronger) than tons of octopus belts.
Maybe this should be a sticky. It's gotten a lot of downloads. |

Yes the shaft drive system is great. On the tubeframe the drive shaft has a two belt sheave on it, two belts go from that sheave up to the sheave on the engine. Those are the only belts involved in the drive system. They are very easy and inexpensive to replace and never ever slip. The large frame is direct drive from the engine to drive shaft on back to the hydro. Both are great machines. Thanks again for the manuals. I downloaded them but have not looked at them all yet.

I don't suppose you have one for a Universal 640DT tractor. I've been looking for a quite awhile now, can't find a free one anywhere. There is one on Torrents though. I might have to break down and spend some money. Thanks, NorminN.B.
