Help Ag Tire Comparison

Kind of an extension of James' thread about ag tires. I am looking to buy 10.50 ags to put on my SS/16 in the future. I was going to buy the deestones, however, they are 8.5" wide when mounted.

My question is to owners of Carlisle tru-power owners, could you post some pics of you 10.50's with measurements? I am considering getting the tru-powers, but I would like to see how big they are.

Can't help you with the 10.50 but here is a pic of my 26x12x12 Tru-Powers. They seem to be very true to size. Plus USA made. I got them from site sponsor Miller Tire. Great customer service. Nothing but good things to say about both the tires and the dealer. Filled with fluid I think these things would hook up on the side of my house.

One good thing about the tru powers I recently bought is they are plainly marked made in USA!!

For the most part they run pretty true to size.If I can get some light I'll get you a picture

Here are my deestones. They are pretty skinny but still a very nice tire for the money. I think I paid like $120 shipped for them?

wow! That looks humongous! What size rims are those on?

While I'm at it here, doing the search thing and bringing old threads back to life...

Anyone here know anything about, or have experience with, the "Hi-Run" Super Lug tires, apparanly by Hastings... they sell them at Tractor supply company. Just saw some today in my size and was wondering. Looking to put some on the rear of my Cub Cadet...

Also, anyone here have any photos of those Firestone Flotation 23deg. tires mounted up in 23 X 10.50 X 12? or comparison shot of those next to some of the Tru-Powers (or others) in the same size?

thanks

I have the tru-powers on my Sears super 12. They are the 23x10.5-12 on 7" rims. I really like them on these rims.
They measure 9-3/8" across the tread.

I also have the Hi-Runs on my Roper RT-10
I really like the looks of these and will probably put a set on the Cub when needed. They remind me more of the Carlisle Super lugs.

They are about 10" wide. And i widened the rims to 8-1/2"

Hugh, my 23x8.5-12 Deestone's measure a tad over 8" when mounted. More like 8.25". Where did you get the 8.5" measurement for the 10.5's? I'd think they have to be more like 9.5" at least.
