Need Help with snapper 0 turn

I have a 2006 snapper 15hp yard cruiser model number yz15384bve.
I was cutting off a piece of metal to replace my battery and i cut through the seat safety switch right in the middle so i got the wire that connects to the switch also.it has 5 wires 2 red 2 blue and one yellow. So I asked a friend if there was a way i could bypass the switch so i could engage my blades and he told me to connect the red to red and blue to blue and leave the yellow alone. I did and it didnt engage the blades so I did something stupid and connected the all together well It blue a fuse (I replaced) And now the engine spins but won't fire. What have I messed up??
I am not asking how to bypass the switch I have bought the switch to go back on just dont know what else I could have messed up besides the fuse and I only found one fuse
