I was shocked when I saw someone had drove a porsche 944 turbo there. It was decent body wise, and they told me it ran. I guess it smoked really bad on the way in.. but ran and was complete. I tried talking them into selling it, but they told me they couldn't sell anything to the public once they had purchased it. Suppose that it some kind of Ohio law? or they just don't like to share the goods lol.
Now, are they scrap yards, or are they "recyclers"? I got fed that line about a computer a (former) acquaintance of mine took to London Drugs for "recycling" when she bought her new one from them... She paid them money to "recycle" it (ie, turf her hard drive data, since we ALREADY have a recycling levy on new computers which covers province-wide free recycling), and once money had changed hands they couldn't possibly let let me HAVE it.... For some reason, they could get in TROUBLE for that... Load of Bull... I'dve cleared her hard drive for FREE THEN recycled it, if she'dve given me the machine instead of PAYING London Drugs to take it....

They are recyclers.. or atleast the one is called guernsey recycling lol. I think after seeing how they work the name should be guernsey scamming lol.

I see so may garden tractors come into our local junkyard that it does not excite me any more... I just don't have room for any more...

Nice save any piece of a Bolens is worth saving. I bet the metal scrap yards get a lot of great parts tractors from time to time. I'm going to talk to my friend who works at one of them and see if he can save out any Bolens for me

I found it looking for parts in Leveille's auto salvage (it's in Somers CT). I was walking by some misc junk when I spotted Case orange. It ended up being a Case 210 that needed a lot of work, but I got it for $30 (complete with deck). I ended up trading that for my Bolens....

I wouldn't bet on finding any other vintage tractors there though, as they specialize in newer car parts.
