From what I've read they have 2 different hydrostat units. I had one I bought and sold last year and have one I bought recently. They ARE different. I haven't found where to check the one I have now. The first one I bought thinking I would keep it. Didn't like it and sold it. The one I have now I bought cheap and am reselling it.
I'm not familiar with the dipstick location on the TG 1860 but most are located on the rear of the transmission. I did an online search but came up with nothing. :dunno:
I found it. It is just ahead and to the left of the hydrostat belt guide where it runs straight from the hydrostat pulley to the gearbox pulley. It is hard to see up in there.
It is full. If I happen to like this mower better than the last one and keep it I'll make up something to get oil in it.
