and finally #4 of 3. oops.
However, I'm a little cornfuzed about another pint in the I&T manual indicating that the bypass valve spring selection in the different pumps is what determines the different top pressure levels, ranging from 18psi-130psi. I haven't measured its fuel pressure; not sure whether that would help or not.
Really want to get at more accurate details about my Case tractor, so I can get the RIGHT manuals & quit wasting time & money on inaccurate information & parts. I don't know if this helps either, but the tractor serial # is 8253501 and the engine serial # is 2419502. It's a diesel with a three point non-eagle hitch. Weird thing is that 8253501 seems to be the cusp of 1965 for several different models spanning 430 thru 1030, including the 830.
Thanks ahead, if you can decipher this any more clearly.

I have the I&T C-202 shop service manual covering various models from 430-1030 & it says that the only difference between the 430, 470, 530, 570, & 630 series Case diesel tractors, all using the Case G188D engine, is the calibration of the injection pump. It also says that the
Today's broken shifting fork has revealed (by the nature of the forks) that it's likely either a 430 or 530, which would put 1900rpm in line with the 430.

#2 of 3: I can't really even be sure that this is the RIGHT or properly calibrated pump for this tractor, partly since it appears to have been recalibrated, but also since the farmer who sold it to me told me it was a Case 830 tractor (which it's not). So this angle might be a dead end, but maybe you can help? Can I get access to that .pdf of the Stanadyne/Roosamaster pump tech manual you've mentioned here & see if I can figure anything out from there?

I'm gonna make this #1 of 3 since my message was too long, so splitting it. =)
    Hi!
Please Help! Main objective: pin down an elusive Case tractor ID.

I've been investigating its installed Roosa Master injection pump: Model #DBG FCC 431-27AJ Serial #602677 Mfg #A35774. Rebuilt? re-stated/stamped rpm: The original stamped rpm was (looks like) 2400 (Case 630C?), but it's hashmarked over & 1900 is stamped beneath that. (cont'd)

You are just the man I've been looking for. I have found many of your posts on the internet and I do beleive that you can help my husband. We just bought an 3414 IH gas and It has blow-by, so we found a new motor, it will be here soon, now the problem is the front hydraulic pump. Buddy that we bought it from "as my husband is saying" he Micky Mouse it together, The pump was trashed so we have to have one build or get one similar, now my question to you is what size is the front pully drive shaft? Hope you can help, thanks.
