Just picked up a beautiful Gravely GMT. Are you able to tell me what year by the serial number? 00309917

    Thanks,

    Don,

I'm interested in attaching a PM50 deck to a Pro 12 Kohler 2-Wheeler. I'm thinking the fab work required to get it to work like the 40" kidney mower shouldn't be overly difficult.

Any advice to avoid possible problems would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Chuck

    Don,

Sorry to pile on buddy, but I, like others, have found a post where you looked up info on a Gravely G series for someone. I just picked up a 16G and a 20G and for a change they actually have the model and serial tags on them. So, if it's not too much trouble...

    16G
    Model 43780
    Serial 0060306

    20G
    Model 41876
    Serial 00586827

    Any help is appreciated!

    Hi Don,

I saw on one of the posts that you can look up year made and info on 24g tractors. I just purchased a 24g today.

    s/n 00619171

Could you tell me when and where it was made?

    Thanks,

    Steve

I have a set of worm & diffrential gears in My Gravely Model L that count 26 gear-6 worm.
I can buy a set that counts 26 gear - 4 worm out of the same tractor. Is this a #4 set that will slow My tractor down.
    Please Help

Could I ask your advice on front-mount mowing decks for the Gravely riders?

I have been looking at some of the larger mowing decks on Craigslist, like the following:

gravely 50" finish mower - $600 (great cacapon)
    http://winchester.craigslist.org/grd/3869171030.html

Gravely walk behind (sale or trade) - $2000 (Lima)
    http://limaohio.craigslist.org/grd/3894245897.html

Gravely Professional 16 Two Wheel Tractor - $1500 (Alexandria)
    http://chattanooga.craigslist.org/grd/3834071302.html

Could any of those be used on the front-mount PTO of a riding tractor?

Or would they be too big and too heavy and too clumsy as front-mounts?

I'd be interesting in both bush-whacking and finish work.

    Thanks so much!
