I uploaded to my website photos from this year's local Old Tractor Show and Airshow. See links below. (Click thumbnails for a larger picture.)

On my homepage you can also find links to photos from this year's local Old Car Show and last year's Old Tractor Show and Airshow.

I thought of Bear while looking at this. But the truck is an IH instead of a Dodge. :D

My father flew a B25 Mitchell bomber in ww2.
I can see that old International looks a lot like Bears roll off Dodge.

There's nothing like an airplane with round engines. The sound that they make is sweet.

They have old plans and helicopters that you can go for a ride in for a price. The military always has a simulator there also. One of these years I may go for it. I've actually never flown in anything. I've always had some motion sickness problems on car trips unless I drive. I think I might be better for the first time to go in a larger plane. Either that or take a dose of Dramamine before I go. :eck15:

Imagine my surprise when I saw this engine in the link.
I never Dreamed I'd ever see another one of these motors like mine especially after 60 or 65 years perhaps longer.

You don't see one of these every day.
In fact the one I have is the only one I had ever seen in over 65 years.

Thanks for the picture blow up.

1944 date was interesting.
I can remember stuff from when I was 3 years old which would have been 1n 1943.
My brother was born Jan 22,1944 also.
Wonder what that old motor would be worth.?

I also recommend something a bit slower and/or larger for your first flight.

Zipping along at 450 mph while strapped to the wing of that single-seat P51 might be a bit more motion than you could handle, dramamine or not.

I'm heading to the Reno Air Races next month to see a bunch of those old airplanes (and others) in action.

This coming weekend is the local airshow and next weekend is the local old tractor show. So hopefully will have some new photos to post in the next few weeks.
