Ok, I indicated that I had at least one of each in the what do you have thread. I don't have pictures of all my machines but here are a few:

I'll try to take some pictures of my other Gravelys as well as with different attachments and get them posted soon.

Enjoy,

Peter

Verry nice collection!!

I realy like the front mount mowers on the 4wheelers. Seems likr that would be awsome with a 30" deck on there to trim brush and stuff.

Peter- Awesome fleet! Keep those pics coming. That 16g with the hydro lift is cool with that 40" deck on it. I'll have to post some pics also. Good Job! - Kris :fing32:

Peter: Your Gravely with the rotary plow looks just like one I bought last week. I have no clue about what lubes to put in or where to put them other than the obvious engine oil in the Kohler . Can you direct me to where to purchase a appropriate tractor and implement manuals? Thank you for your guidance. Sincerely Hadley

tracktor312,

I no longer have that tractor. The tractor is an 812 that was repowered with a Kohler 14hp magnum. The loader had a sticker on it that said it was Wright way out of wisconson. I was never able to find out anything about. The loader was not made for a gravely but was adapted for the tractor.

Peter do you still have the 16G with the front mounted mower? I just bought the front adapter kit for my 14G but am not entirely sure how it attaches - dog gear, spline shaft, double u-joint, etc... Would it be possible for you to take a few close up pictures of your setup when you get some time? I attached the Gravely parts radar drawing for that adapter kit but mine is a little different, so I am not sure if the guy who I got it from maybe took it apart to rebuild and re-assembled it reverse? The housing adapter part #5 is installed/attached backwards through the weldement adapter hole part #7 - if that makes any sense?

Thank You,
Bill

Bill,

The adapter I have on the 16G is installed exactly as the parts diagram shows. I've seen the parts sold individually on eBay and the previous owner didn't know which way to put it together.

Pete,
Thanks for the quick response and information. I have not received the attachment yet, just won it on eBay yesterday evening, but after researching some more on oldgravelys.net it appears that there are two different styles of front adapters for 4-wheel tractors made by Gravely over the years, yours and the style or model I bought. The seller stated it would work on 800 and 8000 series tractors so I am assuming it will work on the G series too since they are similar in the front where the adaptors attach. I guess I'll find out when it gets here.

nice collection. Is that an 8123 wit ha front mount? I would really like a front mount mower on my 8123, the decks are just too darn heavy for mid mount. Front mount would be easier to take on and off

Yea that's a 50" direct mount deck on the 8123. It really wasn't practical mowing with that setup, it was just too long and you needed a large area to turn around. The advantage of a drect mount deck is that it doesn't have the gauge wheels on the back which can cause a problem when you front mount a deck.

I mow a 6 acre field with my 8123 and a tow behind agrifab.

that front mount would be ideal for that job

I think they would be awsome for getting under trees and along fence rows, etc also

I agree. Nothing worse than having spruce branches whack you in the face while mowing around them
