... delivering a tractor on a rainy day! No way to make this short, but I was in the garage waiting for delivery when the cell rings and they WANT ME TO GO TO CYPRUS TOMORROW. ARGHHHHHH. There, it's over and I feel better.
Does a beer taste better on your new tractor while sitting in the garage? The truth will be apparent later today, at least for me.
Will not be mowing for probably a month but I really wanted to do some rolling, have to wait a couple of weeks.
All of 0.1 hours on the meter and the time is set for somewhere on Pluto. I've read the manual and given it the once over. Cripes but they GREASED EVERYTHING already and threw in a half tank of gas. Filled out the Registration card and will mail tomorrow.
Always have summer/winter bags packed ready to go but this sucks.
Here are some pictures. The Honda RT5000 is at my in-laws for rolling duty so there will not be a full group photo for a while.
The Sabre has seen the writing on the wall. Prestige + Honda RT5000 with 42" blower attachment + DR mower + Honda walk behind mower + Craftsman push mower + 2 carts + REAL Troybilt snow thrower = no room for the Sabre, might even get rid of the DR mower...

Congratulations on your new ride! Sorry to hear about the rain, that kinda stinks. And I wanted to mention how much better your tractor would look with shiny chrome hubcaps (I mention this as we have a couple of fellas that have chromed up their Simplicitys a bit)

congrats 4acres... what a shame you have to wait...
looks great.. :congrats:
is your wife gonna get to use it at least??
PS: they delivered mine in the rain and the dealer was so upset and apologetic.. he said 'we had this totally shiny before delivering it and look at it now!!'
I had it washed and shiny the next day...

My wife will pull a cart when I am gone. She might just drive it around for fun, go to the neighbor's house. We have 5 to 8 hours until the first oil change, doubt she will do that before I get home...
Chrome? This might be sort of a mudder tractor, hosed off when dirty but it will be a working machine right alongside the RT5000.

Beer taste better.
Ever have your wife call you on the cell and tell you she is driving 123mph and it is exciting? Finally talked her down to 80.

Argee,
You made me smile. Thanks, I needed that.
Emails flying around the universe. Iteneraries changing by the minute. Think I will call it quits and wait for the finals in the morning.

Drbailey,
I'll park the Prestige near the RT5000 when it is resurecting the pond shoreline with a tiller! Prestige is a LONG awaited replacement for the Sabre, mostly mowing. At least until the Honda quits, so far it looks like not in my lifetime.
My wife wanted power steering and HST and the Prestige looked like the only way to go. Could not get her to smile while sitting on a Cub Cadet 3000. John Deere was not worth it (IMHO).

You should drive it in the rain! It's not like either one of you are going to shrink or wrinkle. :D

Thanks guys.
CatDaddy,
No fear here, I drove it all over the yard after the pictures. Got it muddy and then hosed it down and dried it off.
Going to the airport in a few hours. Will post when I get back in 2 weeks?
