White outdoor, back up while mowing

Is there a way to disable something so that you can back up and mow with a White Outdoor LT 1650, it currently shuts off the engine if you try to back up with the blades enaged. Im guessing there is some sort of switch somewhere, if you know where it is located and how to disable it please let me know. :thanku:

sorry i cant help you with that one ecause this site does not allow discussion about disabling safety switches do to the possibilty of people getting injured what i would suggest is checking the owners manual there may be a switch or button that you can push to temporarily allow you to mow in reverse

My Craftsman has a position you can turn the key to that allows the mower to work in reverse. Some brands have a separate button to push.

This mower just plain old doesn't allow you to mow in reverse, no key positions or anything, i guess i will just have to live with it, oh well maybe the switch will go bad, hmm....
