I have a Husky riding mower that dies when I engage the blade past the number 1 position. I have adjusted the cutting deck engagement but it still dies. I have new belt also. Could the switch that is triggered when the blades are disengaged be the problem. The model of mower is 13am660f131 ser# 1d121b80277

Is this one of the mowers that automatically engages when you lower the deck? If so, it may be that the Reverse Interrupt Operation (RIO) switch or the seat switch is bad. Most tractors nowadays require an opperator in the seat and the tractor to be in neutral or a forward speed to engage the blades. If it's still under warranty, I'd get them to check it out if you have the time to wait.
