Doubt if I'll be around to see it much less care!!ROF
During the early morning hours of April 13, 2029, observers in Asia and North Africa will have a chance to witness a rare celestial event as an asteroid, 99942 Apophis, passes within 20,000 miles of Earth.

Wasn't that good as I normally walk my dogs at the prime time for the shooting stars. There were a few but not many and it was good and clear. I normally walk the dogs around 1:00-1:30 A.M. So you did not miss anything. 2 years ago was the best I have seen and last years was a close 2nd. (BTW I work 2nd shift and it is my normal time to be up and around)
