I knew those, now explain to me what lol or LOL means.
LOL means "Laughing Out Loud"... Similar to the ROF smilie...

So is this every abbreviation or just tractor things like MMM, PTO, FEL,?
This one is for other things, IIRC (If I Remember Corectly), IMO (In My Opinion) things like this used in any post. The tractor/Equipment abbreviations will be listed above. Anybody can post here.

There are a ga-zillion acronyms used on the net. I thought cars and trucks were bad enough as they have used them for years and change them yearly to confuse mechanics and parts guys I believe.
Here is a link for "some' acronyms used. personallt I only use a couple like LOL, BTW, FYI.
SBM?????I have absolutely no idea.
some other examples;
AFAICS = As far as I can see
BTW = By the way
FWIW = For what it's worth
FYI = For your information
IMHO = In my humble opinion (egoless)
IMAO = In my arrogant opinion (a lot of ego)
IMNSHO = In my not-so humble opinion (a lot of ego)
IMO = In my opinion (a little ego)
KUTGW = Keep Up The Good Work
MYOB = Mind your own business
OTOH = On the other hand
RTFM = Read the ___ manual
SO = Significant other (as in, "My SO and I went for a walk...")

A couple that I've been known to use;

I thought it was f'ed up beyond all recognition. That was in a movie about 15 years ago or so, but I cant remember which one. Dont ask me how I know that, as I do not even watch movies. Last movie I seen in the theater was Driving Miss Daisy or When Harry met Sally- whichever came out last.

I put "fouled" inside quotes figuring that those that partake of coarser language would know, and those that do not partake of such earthy words wouldn't be offended ROF
