Greetings.
I had 1/2hr to blow today so I stopped by the large local Kubota dealer and while checking out the new machinery, a B3030 w/cab caught my eye. As I was looking at it one of the reps handed me the key and said "test drive it!" So I did.. :fing32:
Man what a nice tractor. The cab was just about 100% glass w/no blind spots. Once I started it up I immediately turned on the A/C and it was only a few minutes before the cab felt nice and cool. The engine didn't seem to loose any RPM when the compressor engaged.
I then put it through some paces, testing all the ranges,2w & 4w drive, cruise etc and with the now cold air blowing I hardly felt I was in a subcut!
It didn't have an FEL nor MMM so I can't remark on it's useful power but the 4 cyl diesel rated at 30hp felt big enough to handle any 72" MMM or full size 3PH implements with ease.
Really a nice tractor, but at an asking price of $18,500 w/o FEL or MMM, it best be!
I have heard of complaints of steering wheel vibraton setting in after a few hrs but I have also heard that a factory fix is about to be released also so all in all it seems to be a very good tractor.
If'n I ever have reason to upgrade from my BX23, I believes I've found the machine to trade for.
