AArrgh, sittin and waiting for parts. I got a complete hydraulic unit coming off ebay and a load of gaskets n stuff coming from carter n grunweld. Last night I got one box....it was the tubular filter screen..that's it so far. Can't wait to get into it all! I'll post pics too. I may have to...looking at the service manual - the hydro has a lot of valves and o-rings and stuff.

Freebird, Keep us posted on how your touch-control rebuild comes along as you progress. I have the same job to tackle when I get done with a few other fix-it jobs.

I can remember back during my bachelor days when I ordered a lot of stuff mail order, that waiting for the UPS truck was like waiting for Christmas when I was a little kid. It's esspecially fun if you are waiting for several different orders, and when you see the truck, you don't know what's coming, so it's a genuine surprize ripping open the box. Gosh, I love that feeling! :fing32:

ok will do that. Do you have the 2 required books from binderbooks.com? You will definately need the serviice manual.

Freebird, Yes I got the manual/s from Binder but its always good to hear from others hands-on experiences that the manuals dont tell you. Good luck on your rebuild. I just got a J.D-LA that is taking my time away from My Cubs for awhile.
