That's a beauty Dean!! That's the ebay "B"?? I'm guessing you bought it?? She's an early one, tall oil filter says pre 43, no starter hole says 39 or 40. I can't see where the serial# tag is so that's as close as I can get. In any case, she's a beauty! :fing32:

Personally I have not gotten involved with the smaller tractors; but You have a real Gem there; I also would be bustin at the seams with pride of such a beauty. One grat thing about those little fellows is that they sure don't pose the transporing problems the big fellows do. Mr Archdean, keep showing beauties like this one will make Me want to make the 300 mile trip to see them..

Dean,

What a nice looking tractor!... with a lot of potential to be even better looking. :fing32: Add a second seat on the left side and it will be much more useful and better looking... although a challenge for the correct police. :hide:

You'll note the mineature B in my sig file that began life as a Cub.

Congratulations on a wise choice.

dean,

The seats are matching Cub seats, as are the platforms and battery boxes... except that one battery box is actually a cooler. :trink39:

Here's one of the latest pictures I have.

Very nice, I will have to look closer at the B, did you put a floor panel on the left side also ?

We do have an old A which is offset and runs ok but looks rough in the bone yard, does have a great set of rear wheel weights (rear) though!!:bonk:

Thanks for the pic!!
Dean

Yes, there's a platform on the left too. It's an original platform that has been highly modified to be a mirror image of the right one.

The platform from the A would be a good place to start if it's reasonably solid.

I may be off base here; but it seems somewhat a rarity to find one of these models with DRW ?

Nice looking "B" Deaner. It seem so strange that a man of Orange would go for a name like Farmall that is so red. Still nice choice of tractors. Cant wait til we get some pics when it gets to its new home......

The "B" in question is now sitting in my driveway after 13 &1/2 hours of 100 degree + heat and no air-conditioning , of all things the compressor in my Ford pickup went out Friday night!! But we pressed on only to find out that my 18' foot trailer w/rails is too narrow by 6" for the "B" rear wheels !!

So what to do you ask? I backed it up against a hill , chained the ramps to the top rails and proceeded to inch her pretty little butt up the ramps and I thought I'd at least look at that "Rube Goldberg" set up when the right rear didn't like that and promptly fell to the inside and down to the floor!! Ka-boom!!

OK! so looks OK to me now and I chained her down at about a 30 degree tilt (will post a pic tomorrow) and she is still sitting that way tonight!!

The HP even gave it a thumbs up and people all passed me with a big grin and a smile, The poor old Girl thinks she is going to live the rest of her life now as a side hill WAMPUS!!!!

She is in fact just like her posted pictures!! and runs and sounds great!!

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone!!:trink39:

Congrats on landin her home Dean, I'm sure you will be pleased with her, them "B"s are a fun tractor!

Thanks PM, The only thing I really was concerned about was the Rear link chains as they tend to be noisy as you know, these were like new and quite!!

For those that aren't familiar with the "B" it is a Corn cultivating tractor with no clutter under neath and a wide high rear tire spread!!

They make a very pretty Parade Tractor especially pulling a wagon!!!

NEED A Second Seat and frame mount (same thing as on the right it's reversible!!) Also need a Pull to run switch IGN ground switch (Original) HELP and will pay top $!!!!

Joe! Yes I'm glad to be home and I Promise I'll post some pics tomorrow!! We are both the same age but she really does show the wear and tear better than I do!!!ROF ROF

It still looks great even for it being in Oklahoma!

That was one heck of a ride home you gave that Farmall to get it on home! So were you looking in the rear view mirror every 2 seconds?

It's dark now and the little Girl is tucked away in the barn, I will take them tommorow and post the Pics you asked for Randy. If you want anything else just ask!

We (G/F and I) just took the "B" for an hour and 1/2 roadtrip to seat the rings and valves , the bit of blue smoke is now gone and she runs very strong and never missed a beat !!!

The most amazing thing happned!! EVERYONE WAVED!!!:fing20:
