:Welcome1:
to both of you!
cndbx, it is helpful to list the actual sears part number for the machine. it will be XXX.XXXXXX and is usually under the seat or on the fender somewhere. they make so many different but similar units, that one cannot go by a description!

OK, I pulled off the blade today and it is a mulcher someone put it on up side down I sharpened it and put it back on. I checked the model # it is a MTD
13AB560B000 I have no manual and have no idea what year it is. I would like to change the oil, replace the battery and replace the air filter and possibly tighten up the steering. I know nothing about tractors and apreciate any help.

Go to Sears.com, they have parts you can order on line, but like someone said above, you need your model number.
