I know yall have seen the photo documentation of my 1969 Power King tractor and implements. I am in really bad need of a 3 point tiller and the Power King must go. It is apart. I can stick it back together if needed. Every bit of that tractor is there and it comes with a disk harrow, dirt (or snow) blade, and a cultivator. $650 obo

I dont wanna let it go and I know I am going to regret it. I really need that 3 point tiller. The good news is that I am not getting any takers. I might have to dip into the pocket book and get that tiller and still have to restore the ole Power King. I really like the tractor. I just need that 3 point tiller.

I'd be fighting you to see who sells their kidney first, Joe.:00000060:
For $500, I'm really surprised that you still have this available. Must be that Texans don't like them little tractors for some reason.:fing20:

I hope someone gets that PK or you find a heck of a deal on a tiller and can keep it. Nothing says you have to restore it right away, you can do it a little at a time as funding allows -- that it my plans for my '69 and a couple machines I have sitting around.

I almost forgot. If my money situation was better, I would be racing down there to get that machine to go with mine! I have just the right attachments for a couple of these '69's!!

I am already trying to find a place where I can get the head rebuilt. It probably dont need it but I may as well get it done while it is apart. I aint getting any hits on someone wanting to buy it so I might as well at least rebuild the engine and put it back together. I would like to get a couple more horsepower out of it.

According to your pictures, your engine should be a K321 14 hp and not the 18hp. From experience with both the 14 hp and 18 hp PK's, you are better off with the engine you have. It is a much better engine and parts are much easier to find than the K361 18 hp Kohler.
Most of your parts should be available through a Kohler dealer. Since these engines were used on several brands of machines (Cub Cadet and Deere for example), finding sources of new and used parts should not be a problem.
I hope things work out so you can get your tiller and keep the PK as well. Worst case and as already has been suggested to you, you could sell off some of the attachments that you might not need to finance your rebuild or help pay for the tiller.
Keep us informed on how things progress. :goodl:

I didn't see the pics of his tractor but you are right, it probably is a 14hp engine. Good engine. They didn't offer the 18hp kohler on the 69 Economy BUT someone could have put one on it. The k321 engines that were used in other makes of tractors will NOT work on the Economy. You have to have the right shaft and the ring machined in it to be able to be bolted to the hogs head. Mission Manufacturing in Indiana has new kohler service engines in stock that will bolt up.

Yall are right, it is a 14 horse power engine. Sorry about that guys. That is VERY interesting about Mission Manufactureing. Thank Yall for the correction.
