You need to get this one looking as good as the other one. Good luck.

It will be close but the paint is way faded on this one. Gonna have to realign the hood. Will need new tires but should be OK when I'm done with it.
It will go pretty cheap. Probably $200-250.
But this one has an 18hp engine and autodrive.

Don't be in a hurry to give up on those tires as tires are the tuffest thing on any tractor. I've tubed tires that have baked in the sun for 30 years and they work just fine.

Pretty large cracks in sidewall. The tires on these things are pretty cheap(in construction). I may try to tube them but appearance is everything when trying to sell them.....to people that don't much.

Well I got it up and running. Runs extremely smooth. This one has an 18hp "Scotts Exclusive" engine. Rare for a Murray to have one but Wal-Mart had it put it on when the original owner blew up the stock engine and returned it. Will be putting new tires on it soon and should be up for sale in a week or two.
Should be pretty nice when I'm done with it. Have a feeling a deck pully or two may need replacing.

I am envyous that it runs that nice, still working the bugs out of mine. Good job on getting it going. Gives testiment to the skills and knowledge that God wanted you to have. Gonna try some of that "Slime" tire sealent(leaking through small dry rot cracks).:thThumbsU

Slime is outstanding stuff. The original 1990 fronts on my 12 horse still hold air after I put slime in them a couple of years ago. No tubes either.
