Can anyone explain what this means? I am considering buying a kubota bx2230 and it comes with a catagory 1 3 pt hitch. Is this the standard between tractors? What is most common? Thanks in advance.

Durwood, I'm sorry it took so long for the pics. Its been a cold winter and one helleva muddy spring. Tired of slogging thru the mud like in those old west movies. Yesterday was the first day that I could even play on the tractors due to the mud. Anyhow, let me see if I can show ya a few pics in thumbnail format. She runs real good as I played with her in the snow as boys with toys do.

That is really a sweet little tractor Harry. What are your plans for it since you already have a tractor with a fel on it? Do you know how many pto hp it has?
Thanks,

What is that blue tractor in the background of picture three?

Slipshod & Durwood,
lets see???? two questions to answer that require long answers.
The Kioti LB 1714 is 17 HP and I'm told about 15 PTO HP. Nice smaller tractor great for the tight areas and maneuverer's like a garden tractor. Its not a light weight as its 1900 lbs by itself. Just plain fun to operate.
Now the blue tractor is my......... Jinma 224, yep, thats a china tractor. Its 22 HP, 4WD. I know, I know :1106: , the china crap story but I did my homework and been a wrench all my life and tried a few out so and I couldn't swing or justify the big brands and I did look long, so I opted the way I went. So far I'm happy after a year and half and 80+hours. Its not a small unit and quite heavy for a CUT at 2600 lbs by itself without FEL or anything. The Kioti looks like a toy tractor beside it same as my 64 IH Cub Lo Boy(thats my 3rd tractor) Its at my friends house as I'm trying to sell it before I get divorced :sport30: due to my toys. I do hate to part with the Cub but I must.
Unless of course someone would offer to take my wife :trink40: and then I could keep all three tractors :fing32: .

Thats a nice little tractor there. Look REAL clean.
It was nice that mother nature cleared up a LITTLE yesterday wasnt it? I got a little done myself. Not as much as I wanted, but got to poke my head out for a little. I sure hope today is the same. So far, so good.

Ken n Tex,
had a good laugh on your pic. I would never post a pic of wife as I like my cohonies(sp) right where they are. LOL. That said she is a damn good looker of a woman.
Chief,
His n hers tractors? She don't like the bigger :Orange_tr as its too big for her but maybe I can get her to try the smaller Kioti. She does use the rider mower to cut grass and does a good job. :trink40: And that I'll drink to. :trink39:

Your Kubota does have CAT 1 hitch openings in rhe arms and toplink but because of the sway bar system not all CAT 1 implements will work on your Kubota.
