:Disgus: I have been trying to get the flywheel which seems to be married to the hydraulic pumps pulley off of the crankshaft. I have found the two set screws, and I am using the nut and bolt method mentioned in the Yahoo group. I just cant get it off and it is stalling my whole restoration process. I am thinking of taking my 10 pound hammer and beating the #$@#$)*@) out of it. That aught to do it good.

MJD, I had to stand my engine up on it's end, squirt a good bit of PB blaster ( or your favorite flavor) down the hole and spray in both set screw holes and let it sit a day or so. Don't forget that there is a bushing and snap ring in there too

don't forget to spread out the load of the bolts pushing on the block
