Does anyone know of electric skids or other compact equipment? If so, do you have any ideas where they may be used, Mines? Tunnels? Other indoor environment? Have you encountered night work in city centers where there are noise/pollution restrictions that would require use of electric vehicles?
The thinking is that with the new Obama administration stress on Green, there may be some potential there...

i bin figurin on building an electric gt from scratch a skid would be real easy to build

takeuchi make a mini excavator that runs off 220 hydro for use inside factories where diesel fumes would cause problems
I just aquired an elec Mini Trk , 36 VOLTS It was made in Calif. By Taylor - Dunn....An OLD Manf. of this Kind of stuff ..This one was Given to me by an Old friend that didn't have time or energy to repair it..I have the Motor out and found the Comm is Scored..also If I cannot get him Going I have Looked it Over to converting to a Lil 5 HP with a 5 speed , with the right spockets that should work.. I want a Lil rig to carry My Tools and a torch & Arc welder around my Acreage..This should fill the Bill,NU
Whoops , Forgot to say that ALOT of Factories Use them as small and No smell fumes etc I worked at Boeings they had them I work at Fleet wood theyhad em and some prisons and also I seen then in an Aluminum Plant ck out the sites for equip Material Handing, several comps Make them
