I finally broke down and made the move. I went to a local dealer and tried out a 2548 with the kohler and really liked it. He had one of the smaller yard tractors sitting beside it with a Kawasaki in it. So I jumped on it and cranked it up. That thing sounded so sweet. Alot smoother than the Kohler. So I asked If they could get a GT with the Kawasaki. He said he just got one in but hadn't put it together yet. It was almost closing time and he said i could come back tomorrow and he'd have it ready for me to try out. I did and with in 5 minutes I was signing a check. I've cut my 2 acres once so far and it did a wonderful job. I could of saved myself $400 dollars and went with the Kohler but I Just loved how quiet and smooth the Kawasaki ran.

Congrats. You made a very good choice. :fing32: Read your Owner's Manual thoroughly and follow the maintenance instructions to the letter and you should have many years use out of your tractor and engine.
