I know it's not a heavy built tractor but I just had to do it. I had a extra 3 point hitch laying around that came off an old Sears Suburban and not doing anything other than setting on a shelf. So I took it and fabricated a plate to attach the 3 point hitch to this old 11 HP Murray Tractor( 1st picture) It was given to me last summer with no motor or deck. I couldn't hardly part the tractor out it was just in too good of shape. I had a spare 11 HP motor setting in the shop taking up space I installed it on the tractor last summer plus while I was at it I put a good used set of tires with a little bite(2nd Picture) End result a light weight garden tractor that has a 3 point hitch that I can now use in those tight spaces. Will it ever have to do some heavy work ? Probably not, I really doubt if the transaxle could take too much punishment.

Thanks! I didn't know if anyone had tried putting one of these hitches on a Murray or not. I plan on using it at garden tractor pulls to pull the dirt where the tractors spin out not for sure how well it will work? I want to add a water tank to spray the ground behind the blade. Not for sure where I will mount that though. Might look at the front.

Never thought of doing that. Nice fit! I like it. What brand and size of tire are on the back. I'd like to put a set on one of my tractors.

The tires that are on the back are a set of 4 Ply Power Trac II 21X11.00-8NHS Made by Carlisle. I had a heck of a time getting them sucked down on the narrow rim but it worked.

Thank you.
Have you looked at the tri ribs that ME Miller sells. It is in the section under front tractor. Only 25 bucks apiece. They would look great on your Murray.

Looks good. I have an 18hp Murry with a 3pt hitch that I use to mount a tiller. One thing that I don't like about this tractor is the use of a 4" fibre disk at the bottom of the steering shaft. It acts as a universal joint. Does your tractor also use a disk?
