Its cute as heck, looks sort of like a REO. I almost need it for something.
It is within driving distance.

Hmmmm...looks a lot like a 2 stroke Jacobsen snowblower engine I once had..
Cant remember if it had the cylinder pointing sideways like that one or not though..might have!...

A 2 stroke? ick. Hope not.
I had a REO that sat sideways like this but had the wierd reverse rotation gearbox and ran the wrong direction. (4 cycle)
I remember without a muffler, it was still one of the quietest engines i ever ran. Didn't even know I had it running at first...thought it was strange it was still turning.

Defently looks like a 2 stroke. With the carb going into the crankcase like that.

NICE collection of antique engines Kbeitz!..:omg:
I see a REO on the top shelf on the left!--I had one like that years ago!..I'd like to hear more about the one a in the top middle of the shelf,is that an engine,or an air compressor?..
I still have a shed full of engines, both running ones and parts only ,,but sold all but one of the "antiques",I still have one Briggs model 14 that runs, but smokes like a chimney!..

Kevin has one of every engine ever made and some that weren't.
Been wondering how that water burning project was coming along.
