I know Farmtrac went into recievership, but does anyone know what is happening with the company? I haven't been able to find any current information on the net. Thanks in advance.

Tarboro was a neat little town to drive thru. I used to visit Rocky Mount quite a bit and drove thru there many times.

Anyone know the name of the firm in India that was building them?

I just read in Farm Business that the Japanese company that built them, McCormiks, and Montana tractors was going to take over the selling and servicing of these tractors. Not sure what the name of it was, but they called it LS. They are the comany that makes them.

the farmtrac tractor is now clled montana limited . the montana dealer had a few at his lot they look the same. priced a 2wd 555 for 12400. 16900. with loader.

I looked at these prior to buying my JD. There were certainly some "deals" available ie a 30 HP tractor + or - w/FEL & BH for $15K or something like it. I just couldn't convince myself to take the plunge.
