steiner folks, I am in need of everything above the manifold, for a vertical system. Elbow, muffler, clamps, bracket, and cap. Heat shield is still good. I went thru over 30 pages of your catalog (the search didn't work for me)and only found the elbow and horizontal pipe. You gots 'em in vertical?....... Thanks. By the way, I have decals in route from you...... Don Wedow

Hi Don,

I wanted you to know that I'm working on your answers this morning. I'll post a reply about the parts later.

Which search didn't work for you? Were you looking at the pdf file of the catalog and searching there or were you using the search on the site?

The search function on our website is my next big project to tackle. We know that we need to make it better and we need to keep the site relatively easy to maintain as we are a small family owned business and we don't have unlimited staff to do the maintenance (basically there's me, so I need it Simple). I'm hoping for some updates to be made to the search engine in the next month and then I may completely revamp it when we go live with the 2009 catalog. It would definitely help me to know specifically what you tried and what didn't work.

I'm talking to the technical desk now about your parts. I'll post another reply soon.

Thanks for buying the decals from us!

Hi, before the guys can work up your price quote, they need to know about which elbow you will need.

FDS020 (http://www.steinertractor.com/detail.aspx?ID=1872) is 1-5/8" (elbow to muffler)

FDS021 (http://www.steinertractor.com/detail.aspx?ID=1873) is 2" (elbow to muffler)

We don't stock the vertical system, but they can order in the pipe that it will take. Once they know the required dimensions, they are going to work up a quote for you.

:thanku:
