You guys might remember my dump find Jacobsen Commercial deck from a few weeks ago. I finally got around to installing an engine on it and it is one sweet little mower. I put a Suzuki 2-cycle (from a Toro) on it and it makes a nice combo.

I was so happy with this Franken-mower that I mowed my entire 30,000 square foot lawn with it today. A real pleasure to use.:bannana:

Nice mower. I like that throttle. Nice a heavy duty. I have to find a 2 cycle Suzuki engine

Here's underneath. I had to use the Toro blade hub which I drilled two 1/4" holes for bolts so I could use a 20" Universal blade. I also had to hacksaw
3/8" off the crank for proper height. I used a self propelled drive pulley as a guide for the saw, I still had an inch and a quarter of 7/16"/20 drilled and tapped threads to mount blade. The motor has a fixed throttle at full throttle only - the cable is to operate the choke. Of course the mounting holes didn't line up so I removed the motor base plate and centered on the deck and then taped it down, flipped over and gave each hole a quick shot of spray paint. Now I had my hole stencils in which I drilled 3/8" holes. Motor dropped on perfect.:i_praying Not exactly an easy re-power, but worth the effort.
