The 3205 may have choke/throttle a lot like other 1995-200x bigger tractors
Trying to replace the throttle/choke cables on my 3205. The choke/throttle cable holder is a side-by-side quadrant
Let me start this by saying that it seems to me to not be a fun thing taking the whole quadrant out of the panel. I can do so, if needed. I'm hoping there is a way short of having to do that.
The cables have a standard raised L hook on the end. Just behind the hook, there is a rubber thing which helps seat and hole the thing in place. It looks like if you have the holder ready, you can just push the choke in, seat the bushing, and it'll work.
Right now, I've got the choke cable armor off the cable. It's just a cable coming out of a whole on the back side of the quadrant housing. Problem is, I can't get it on out. I thought yanking on it would work, but I may break something inside the quadrant that holds things--not a good idea.
I may have to remove the quadrant.
Anyone know how this is done? If there's a good trick to getting the cable out, I'd sure like to know how to do it.
