My neighbor (85) is convolesing(sp?) with his son after back surgery-
I've got a Ford 2N with a shredder and he has a Hinimoto E230 with a ford mower.
Since I keep up his pasture while he's gone- His son asked me to use the Hinimoto so it wouldn't just sit.
To make the story short- I used it and the water pump blew :fing20:
I pretty sure it's the pump- may be the hose but it sure looks like it's the pump.
It looks like this is a simple chore to replace the pump on this tractor but- I have NO IDEA of where to get a pump or even where to start looking other than here
My neightbor doesn't remember what year the tractor is - All I know is it's a Hinimoto E230 The engine is a Diesel S126.
Does anyone know where I can find a pump or where to even begin looking?
I'll try to pull the old one off this weekend if a part number is needed.
I apprecate all replies.

I may have used one from a Allis chalmers 5020 that had other engine problems. I'll check the shop tomorow evening. If it's there you can have it for less than $10 shipping.

bdoss,
Usually rebuilding water pumps from someone who specializes in doing this isn't a problem. Many of the Hinomoto's pumps uses that screwy ceramic disk and most rebuilders won't touch them.
I would jump all over Cleatusj's gracious offer :D!

Postal girl will pickup about noon tomorrow with 2-3 days delivery.
I've had the parts about 2 yrs and it's good someone can use. The 1/2 tractor project is not dead just on the back burner.

This is what this forum is about- people helping people.

My thanks go out to cletusj and mark777 for being gracious enough to share parts and helping their brother tractor enthusiasts.
Believe me - it will be paid forward.

I know that this is an old thread, but I just had to post. I have been on and read alot of forums on different subjects, but you guys (and gals) are the best by far. No profanity or put downs. You really seem to help each other. I really appreciate the forum. :thanku:

Does anyone still have any of those parts leftover from the S-126?
Please e-mail me: chuckiejoe@hotmail.com
Thank You -- I am in the process of doing a total rebuild on a A/C 5020 that was in pretty bad shape to start with & this is my winter project.

Welcome to MTF Chuckiejoe!
What are you looking for specifically?? I'm afraid all of the mess if left with Cleatus was from a 5020, so whatever is left is in his inventory.
