Murray ID

Anyone know how to ID these old Murray tractors? I just picked one up
for a backup, and can't find any info on it, other than Murray is out of business, and they don't have any manuals older than 2001 or something.
I've got model #46209X9B #3395804 date of manufacture=1352.
It's got a 18hp twin I/C Briggs and a 46" deck. Any help would be appreciated.:duh:

What are the engine numbers? The code is a date code. yymmddzz
If the engine is original, one can assume the engine is "slightly" older than the tractor.

I'm sorry, I guess what I was tryin to say is that it looks a lot like a AYP.

Not for sure, but I believe Sears sold the same tractors as Craftsman II's. I have one [Sears] that is a little newer that was made by Murray.

I can’t help you very much identifying your tractor. I also have a Murray, a 1988 model I believe, by the engine date code. The Murray date code is very cryptic. I new the original owner the she said it was the original engine. Here are a coupe of links that might be helpful.
