Toyota Skid Steer,anyone know where to get a motor?

This may be off topic here,but my brother just bought a used SD-7 Toyota skid steer with a blown diesel motor--and is having a hard time finding a good used motor for it..anyone here have any leads??--we've tried searching the web,but it seems there are practically NO used parts available for any brand of skid steers,not just Toyota's!..you'd think there would be salvage yards for them and forklifts,but not many have websites I guess..
