Hi, Guy's;

[INDENT]I,m a new member and I wanted to share with you the tractors that I have. I recently gave a friend my white lawn tractor and have replaced it with two tractors, I sold the idea to my wife as I need two because one will be for just mowing grass while the other will be the work horse (wink, wink). My friend is battling cancer and he was pushing a big lot, So it's win, Win for both of us. The MF-10 needs some work and I plan to put a snow blade on it, The 214 GTX will be my primary mower. I had a question about the sicle mower attachment that has been mounted to th MF-10, It's not original and I think I will sell it to help with the cost of the snow blade and/or some repiars. Any idea what it's off of??.

Thanks, Dave

That's a sickle bar mower mounted on that MF10, I've got a broucher of all the implements that where made for MF10&12's, 14&16's too. I had a MF10 variable drive for 29yrs, gave up trying to wear it out and gave it to my oldest son about four years ago, he's still useing it. I've still got a MF12 hydro, it's in a million pieces waiting for a resto. I've seen factory front blades for the 10 on ebay for little of nothing. You'll need a rear weight box, HEAVY one too then it gets to be frt end traction problems if you plow too deep of snow. I'm not familiar with the other tractor but I've got a brocher of them new. I think that series garden tractor was built for MF by Ingersol Rand and are suppose to be tough machines. I've got three of the 1000 series tractors-1450, 1650, and 1855 MF's that where built by Snapper for MF. Think I've got about every attachment except that sickle mower---hummmmm.

Hi, guy's;
Thanks for the nice comments and the replies. butchs_hobby, Your right on the other tractor being made by Ingersol Rand. I found this out from the past owner and the local Massey dealer, I was told that it makes it more difficult to find original accessories because Ingersol Rand only made the garden tractors for them for a few years. The newer Massey has hydrostatic drive and hydraulics as well. Thanks for the traction and the weight box info, I have a line on an atv plow that might be cheap. Apparently it goes under the tractor and hooks to the ball ( I have not seen it yet), What do you think could I retro-fit it to plow snow.

It was not Ingersoll rand. It was Ingersoll. Diferent companys. Ingersoll tractors are the same as the old Case tractors. Still being made today. Lots of stuff for them also. Just have to serch for Case/Ingersoll.

The factory snow blade for the 10 hooked up to the rear hitch plate and ran all the way forward to the blade. The mower lift attached to that piece of channel and there was a guide plate to mounted to the frt bumper. Factory blade was angle adjustable from the seat. It shouldn't be all that hard to adopt an atv blade to the 10. I plowed a lot of snow with mine when I lived in Iowa, thankfully that's a thing in the past, I now live in Texas. I put fluid filled ags on the back of it and used it like a dozer for dirt work down here.

That's a couple of nice looking tractors you have. Your a good friend to help your buddy out.
I really like the 10 and 12 models. They are built like tanks and I like that they look like the massey farm tractors. I have modified 3 of them so far and have a couple more in my project pile.
