Have any of you checked out the "MTF Reference Library"?
What are your thoughts? I think it will work well having the info there and the regular day to day talk here. What I planned on doing is making a "sticky" post here at the top of the bolens forum listing what materials are available in the library at the present time and updating as we add to it. In this "sticky" will be a link to the library so you can just open that thread and go from there.
As some other brands may also be added to the library, it could be broken down further by brand name etc.
If anyone has info they would like to add, just let me know.

I like it. Looks nicer than the old system we had, and that sticky serves as kind of a quick index. Nice work guys. Looks like we have you, AEGT, and SJ to thank?

Thanks Ken
Yes, Anthony (aegt500) walked me through creating the manuals in pdf. What can I say? The guy has a ton of patience! :fing32:
Sj set up the library, answered numerous emails, and is posting the manuals. By him posting, there can't be any replies made to the manual pages. This really helps keep everything organized! If someone has a question as to how do what a manual describes, they can come back here and start a thread to get advice.
My contribution? Driving both of them crazy with questions! ROF ROF
That and re-scanning alot of pages I had deleted! :banghead3 and converting it all to pdf files. I must say, with Anthony's directions it actually seems easy! :trink39:

Wish I had known you had to rescan all that. I have most of what you had posted before saved on my computer. If you are missing anything else, I'd be willing to help.

Thanks Ken!
Any ideas on what we should have back again? Do you think we should do all those other things like the colored brochures and specification manuals?
I know Anthony still has the largeframe manual and the engine manuals he posted.
How did you save them? You didn't convert them to pdf by any chance?

I know you have a great bolens reference page. Any advice you can offer us? Feel free to speak up or add to our reference materials.
Looking forward to hearing more from you!

Hi Jacques. I missed your post there. I've seen you on the Yahoo groups before, and I like your website. Nice to have you here.
Sixchows, I didn't save those to .pdf but I could probably convert them. I honestly don't know what to say about the brochures. They're interesting for sure. It's neat to see what was available back then. But I don't know. I think this calls for a poll.

Well since we would rather have tech stuff first maybe we should hold off on those until we have everything else?
What do you think about owner's manuals, both tractors and attachments?
I have a copy of a 1253 manual and all those attachment manuals like sickle-mo, flail-mo, mackissic shredder, mower decks, snocaster. I know that Haban stuff is impossible to find anywhere so I guess I'll do those and the shredder.
