View Full Version : Where I get into trouble...
This is where I "hang out" and post to the MTF.
My Computer Loft, Mac system on left, XP - PC system on right.

G4 Tower, 15" Flat Screen, HP G85 printer and Sony CamCorder for a Web camera.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v165/kgregc/MacStation.jpg
My 15" Titinium PowerBook Mac, LeCie CD-RW and Palm 515m stand.

Running both Mac and PC systems gets a bit confusing at times, especially when I get on the XP machine.

I commend you on your hardware organization in your lair, Greg!
Thanks, Mow...but you've seen pics of my "junk" stuff, right? Now when I get all that cleaned up, I'll be doing good. I have a feeling that gonna happen, though... Never does.
The loft does work out well, as I can look down at the TV or the dogs below in the family room, or smell dinner cooking in the kitchen just below and forward.

"Mission Control"! ROF Seriously, though that's an ideal place for your stuff. I want the same setup, only in a 30' by 30' area!

Probably has a built in air freshner that makes the room smell like apple blossoms after every flush.

Not needed, since as Mac users our sh*t don't stink! ROF
Anyway, that's a great setup Greg. (Well, except for the XP system, it kinda brings down the property value of your loft!)
My setup now is just my 15" PowerBook. I used to have alot more, mainly for making music, but now I just plug the guitar into the PB and fire up GarageBand.

GarageBand absolutely kicks aZZ! Even for a non-musician such as myself, it's easy to create decent sounding stuff with all the loops it has.

Of course, who hasn't? One of my favorite slide players. Since I love the blues, especially slide, I've studied the Filmore East album a few times. Just exactly how old/young do you think I am?
Now, what did I do with my Britney CD? ROF

Sorry, didn't mean to insult you. I guess the Kid part threw me a little :fing20: . To hear the best of Duane you really need to hear his solo albums where he played with other artists. And he finally did receive his just dues a while back when "Rolling Stone" magazine named him the second best rock guitarest ever. Hard to believe that he was only 24 years old when he died. His slide on Statesboro Blues is just unreal. Nobody had that soft touch that he had. :1106:

After lookin' at the photos on your webspace, I'd have to guess somewhere between 39 & 43. (Leavin' myself a little wiggle room. :D)

And how would YOU know about Avril? Hmmm, makes me wonder about you. ROF
Durwood, the Kid Muddy name is my "blues" name from when my friends and I had a blues band. I was (and still am) a big fan of Muddy Waters and the "Kid" part just made it sound cooler. Yeah, I'm a dork. :050:

How many Scorpios does it take to change a light bulb?
1. None. They LIKE the dark.
2. So who wants to know? Why do YOU want to know? What are you, a cop?
3. That information is strictly secret and shared only with the Enlightened Ones in the Star Chamber of the Ancient Hierarchical Order.

Jody, you use yours for a webcam, right? How do you do it and how do you like compared to a "standard" webcam?
