This is the Tractor I purchased on eBay. The last week of June!
My first posting was in the "Big Boys" area but it really fit here in the Compact Utility Tractor area.

The tractor was a smoker, check the compression it was equal on all cylinders. So I was thinking it was the valve guides need to be replaced. So I added some Marvel Mystery Oil in to the gas and the oil. After 35 minutes of running the tractor it stop smoking!!!!! :bannana:

I replace the front tires (that made it look a whole lot better) and muffler and pipes.

So far I a spent on Tractor, parts, and Gas (on getting the tractor home and retrieving parts): $960

Not bad at all! I TO 30's were a nice tractor. Didn't they have live Hydro??

The Hydraulics on this 1953 TO-30 runs off the pto shaft (not an external after market pump). The hydraulic pump is internal located under the seat and is driven off the pto shaft. So the raise the 3 point the pto is engaged and spinning. I am not very keen on that design!

Same way the N's are. Works, but not the pest. I was think the 30 had it. I know the 20 did not. Funny, I remember when I was shopping, that the 30 was a big step up from the to20, but for some reason now, I cant remember why. :D
