Dad brought this one home a couple years ago.

It ran great but needed some work as all the stuff we drag home does.

It is a 60 standard which makes it more collectible than a row crop 60.

I did the paint job on this one and it is by far the worse one ever for me, The hood is aluminum and it seems like the paint just didn't lay down very well. That and I don't think it is the correct color for Oliver of that year.

I'd really like to repaint it but dad says it's okay with him so, I got to show the good along with the bad ones. I feel it is too much of a great running rare tractor not to make it right, but....dad gets the final say so, since this one is his.

Here is the completed Oliver 60 Standard in the newly completed barn addition.

That is one very nice Oliver. I see a few around here but not near as many as the Farmall's.

Yeah I can do that. I'll be back over to the shop a little later today so I'll get some dash pics and post them.

I love old Olivers, and yours is looking great. I hope the oil on the floor is from something else.

It is new, I just completed it last week. I thought I did a thread somewhere about it.

Yeah the oil is from a loose nut on the oil pressure guage we didn't find until we started it up and then didn't notice for a few minutes. Nut is tightened up but the oil spot has yet to be cleaned up.

JDA,
Great job on the Oliver. I agree with you on the shade of green. When that one came out new, it was painted clover green and clover red. It should have a little darker shade of green and red.

JDA if you really want to go to the trouble. There is some really good epoxy paints for covering concrete floors. Would make those spots easy to wipe up. Unless you like the lived in look!!

Thats a nice unit JDA. You need to cover up the JD sign on your trailer when you haul the Oliver or your going to confuse people that think JD was the only green tractor ever built.
