You shouldn't post pic of your wife here. There are some guys that might try to steel her.:sidelaugh :sidelaugh

:duh: Why you need tell your wife wear nice dress and on lawn tractor for picture?
Well to tell you true story. My Grandpa bought case 444 and he won't let anyone use that or ride with his expect me. His wife never drove that case 444 then later 11 years ago grandpa pass away so now all of Grandpa's son or son in law or me use that for mow grass or snowblower. I admit I never see my cousin drove that but most it was me or Uncle.

Cathy has driven our old Sabre, the Prestige (ran it into the Sabre in the garage...), the RT5000 and my BIL's Legacy XL, the DR mower, the old Troybilt snowblower and the ancient Sears walk-behind. I travel a lot and she knows to at least check the oil and top off when needed, after a phone call or email.
To tell the truth, she has never really liked the RT5000. Too much to keep track of, and those gears. She really does well with the mowing and enjoys playing around with stripes using the prestige
Now she wants a Legacy XL, I want a Honda RT5013. Guess who will win this one.

I let my wife cut with the Sabre once. Ran into the pole beans and stopped at the cold frame.

She does pretty good on the Honda, but on day I came home from work to find the bagger ripped off and laying in the yard. She said," I don't know it just fell off right beside that stack of cement blocks." I put it back together and said nothing more. :)

My wife mows, hauls a cart and everything. She even uses the tiller and weedwhacker all by herself. She enjoys it, and it means more help with the lawn work.
Never hit anything or broken anything (at least she hasn't).

The wife used to run the JD LX280 when I had to load mulch by hand. She was a big help. Something about her on that tractor!!! Maybe I am a sick ticket. Any way now with the JD 2305 she really did not want to run it but I had to place some large rocks next to the waterfall and she did a good job with it. Will try and find other things for her to help with.:omg:

Well now.... I have read all the posts... and you know what?
I do not have to ask ANYONE if I can mow... I bought the tractor!!:fing02:
I have mowed our yard... for the past 20 years.... :thThumbsU I am a woman... and the only time hubby mows.... is when I can not get a day off work...:swow:
So, if you all would have started letting the "other half" mow years ago.... Look at the free time you would have!:fing20:
Ya all take care now...:thThumbsU "DJ"

You meet the nicest people on a Honda. My wife ran our 425 & X585SE and really enjoyed it. She tried the 2305 the first day we got it home and almost rolled back into my truck, scared her and she hasn't been on it since then. Just more seat time for me. slkpk

Miss Lynda is doing very well riding the mower now. She is a great help and I'd be lost without her. Maybe someday I'll get her a Honda of her own, since I'd never give up one of mine.

My wife wont let me mow, something about flower beds.
I let my wife mow with my 3810 once! :sorry1:
She took out the kid's swing set, the front grill, head lights, dented and scratched hood paint when it was brand new :crybaby: and cost me a lot of :trink40: money to recover!
Never again!

Heck, pertty woman like that, let her ride anything she likes!! My wife on the other hand, (looks that good) is'nt allowed to touch the tires! My 1st mower quit, she calls me @ work, says she can't figure it out, got home to find a qt of oil on the deck, she failed to put the dipstick back in! That happened 3 times!!! The Scotts- she calls me @ work to say it won't start back up, she had started cutting the grass, got off the machine instead of turning it off, came back houres later, dead battery! Once I came home to find a yard full of grass clumps, the bagger filled up and she never emptied it. The list goes on and on...... She will never git on my new CC LTX 1046VT!!!!!!! I would let her drive the Weed Eater, it has no deck, and I only paid $30.00 for it!:Stop: :Stop: :Stop: :Stop: :Stop: :Stop: :Stop: :Stop: :Stop: :Stop: :Stop:
