There is a newer dealer not too far away and for some time I thought those orange tractors on the lot were Kubota's and was wondering why 2 dealers close by. Last week I drove by this shop and saw the Kioti signs so I dropped in yesterday.

This was my first look at this brand. Not bad. Was really surprise at how beefy the front end was. Looks like NO problem being able to handle all the FEL can lift. Rear axle also looked substantial. Spent most of the time looking at the CK25-30's as these are about same size powerwise as my Yanmar. Asked about ballpark price for one of these. With the FEL and HST = $15k Not bad.

Looks like there are a fair amount of extras available including MM PTO for a finish mower. This was a surprise for a tractor of this size. OPT's: FEL, Backhoe, extra hyd plumbing and control valves, mid and rear mounted finish mowers plus other I can't recall.

I think the only diff between the 25 and 30 models is a larger engine.

For anyone shopping for a new machine, I'd give Kioti a look.

I've got the DK45s and love it. It's my 2nd year for this tractor and it's performed like a champ. Loader is a great feature and has saved me lots of back breaking work. From spreading, gravel, dirt, hauling firewood or downed trees, it's been a back saver.

I bought the four-wheel drive DK45S this year for my 5 acre property. It gets used to dig up oak trees, move 1500-2000 pound rocks, and move dirt. Generally, I am very satisfied with the Kioti. But, it has some disappointments, too. The backhoe droops quickly unless I use the 1-inch pins to secure it. I believe that this is a gross design flaw. The frontloader never droops no matter how long I leave it off the ground. The front differential is open rather than locking when the front axle is engaged with the 4WD pushbutton. This 4WD pushbutton also gave me some intermittent contact problems early on, and I had to disassemble it to correct an internal design problem.

The engine hood lifts easily, and the engine side panels come off with no effort. I don't like the fact that so much plastic and fiberglass is used instead of sheetmetal. I prefer a heavier tractor for traction, and all the plastic and fiberglass just makes it lighter.

The Kioti performs well, and I enjoy it. But, I wish I had gotten the 55 or 65 hp version, as there are times when I could use the extra horsepower.

Cost of operating is running about $3 an hour for fuel, about $1 per hour for maintenance, for a total operating cost of about $4 per hour.

I bought a 12-volt fuel pump and mounted it onto a 55-gallon diesel barrel. Then I connected wiring to the Kioti's battery, ran the wiring along the frame to one of the steel pockets that provide the mounting for the turn signal, and terminated the wiring in an outdoor weather-proof junction box. Now, I just connect the power cable from the fuel pump to the Kioti, and fill the fuel tank. Easy!

:Welcome1: to the forum and how about a few pics :wwp:

Thanks for the report on your Kioti. What's the dealer say about the hyd leak down on the backhoe?

The only negative thing i heard about the C-25 or C-30 is that the 25 is underpowered because of the weight of the tractor, and that the 30 is recommended.

When I asked the dealer about the backhoe's drooping, he responded by saying that it was a characteristic of the KB2385 backhoe. This is not a satisfactory response for me. The system should not droop.... period! Kioti should jump on this problem. In 30-60 minutes, the bh bucket is dragging on the ground if I don't install the pins to prevent drooping. This is a real pain in the 'bucket'. Do you think the dealer is hiding a known design defect?

Not defending any dealer nor myself, but if you ask any manufacture of a backhoe they will tell you that their product will drift.
As a mattern in fact there are even allowable distances that the manufacture has... like on the rod side they will allow 2 inches an hour.
2 inches an hour on the rod will have almost any backhoe on the ground in a couple of hours.
The same goes for loaders.
Now if you think that the problem you are having is not right than here is a test you can do to see if it is your valve or the cylinder....
With the backhoe in the upright position put a jack under your bucket and then remove the hydraulic hoses from the valve body and cap them off then remove the jack and after you remove the jack mark the cylinder with a sharpie and leave for a while and when you go back see if it drifted.
If it drifts while the hoses are capped of then you know you have seal problems in the boom cylinder, if it doesn't drift then you know it is in the valve body.

Well you think that tractor is strong because beefy axle. No it is fel that are most weak design it will worn out fast plus have ton of play that make horrible rattle.

My Uncle have that Kioti for 4 years plus hours is 235 for fel to get worn out that sound bad design.
