Cat D2 still working

heres a couple pics of my dad out plowing fire guards with the D2 serial # 4U148 and a 4 disc oliver plow its wet enough in that feild we've got it on 24 feet of end wheel drill now as the drills won't seed into the tractor ruts pics of that to come later

the pics were taken this spring 2007 ,it was wet enough the wheel tractors left to deep of ruts. the cat is a 1947 we can't stop using it or it might get old

it can dig itself into the ground in a hurry when those tracks spin

Looking at those last photos I noticed what looks like a second small exhaust stack. Does it have a pony engine on it?
