:ditto: on what Jim said Hawaiianbob glad your having fun with that JD115 A not sure about a rating but proper maintence should last a long time for you.

Aloha! Rew; I have Not seen anything NEGATIVE ABOUT this Machine Yet. Just made 2.4 Hours on it. I am going to try that EZ OFF , or something for the deck cleaning. When I first got my New 115A I jacked it up and gave it a real thick coat of Rust Proof Paint Oil Base. Now when I am Finished with it I just Run it up on Car stans and Scrape the grass off with a plastic Ccraper then I was it off with a hose and run the Blades. I think it is a good idea to try a NON Stick Product with Telfon Base coating. This is why I had to buy a New JD after my STX 38 Rusted out on one of the lifting Arms. It Looked NEW and ran New. I gave it to my Friend who welds and he welded it up , it had a Kohler 12.5 Engine which I changed the iol and filter every 25 Hours. it is like a New Machine, I just Figured that it was time for a New one, this Machine is also an Automatic so that my wife can drive it. the stx was a 5 Speed. I hope it last me until I die. Thank You Very Much.

Well as you know I own the JD115 myself. Im here in Cleveland and just got it a couple of months ago. Id say I have close to 3 hrs on it and no probs here,Ofcorse this is all snow plow time but so far so good!
So from my end it does well in the winter,,we'll see how it tackles the grass come spring :)
