Mahindra 485DI

I purchased a used Mahindra 485DI and it isnt charging. Does this tractor have a generator or an alternator? Also does anyone have a wiring diagram for this tractor?

Look at the gen or alternator; if the windings spin its a generator; if the magnets spin inside the wire windings then its an alt

okay, thanks, I kinda figured it was supposed to be an alternator but it dont look like an auto type. It will probably be spring before I can get a chance to really check it out.
