I show a GSD in conformation, but will be going over to agility this spring. Anyone else show?

Well besure to watch the rebraodcast of the AKC Agility Invintational in Feb on Animal Planet. The dates and time are on my site bestinbreed.org
Sheeba seems to enjoy it, but I have not had time to work her this winter since it is about dark when I get home.

Not dogs, but I showed in 4-H where my beef animals won Grand Champion steer and Grand Champion heifer at the State Fair in 1976
Also my 69SS has won a bunch of trophys at different car shows over the past 6 years.
I've watched some of the 4-H kids show dogs at the local fairs.
Best of luck to you in your endeavors.

I was very happy to see 4-H kids showing at the shows I have been too. I think 4-H, and FFA needs to be encouraged more by the schools instead of football, but that is JMO.

from my viewpoint I like to see FFA, 4-H and sports all being used to help keep our kids equally focused on what avenue they wish to pursue.
I was in FFA, 4-H and lettered in High School Basketball & Football. My G.P.A. wasn't great but was good enough to get accepted to Michigan State University and get a degree in Agriculture (which I am not using except to some extent here at MTF dispensing Farm crops and JD tractor advice :ROF )
Both my son's were also in 4-H, lettered in their sport of choice (youngest son had 4 offers to go on to Div.II college football) had great G.P.A. and are both electricians.
I'd rather see kids involved in some form of activity to keep them focused and active. Our schools had a rule, if your GPA fell to a certain point (think 2.0) you were off the team.
I enjoyed watching my kids in 4-H as much as on the field of sports.
Sorry Jason, I didn't mean to hijack your thread. :duh:
